At Deep Roots Orchard we act as stewards of this unique land. Our biodynamic apple orchard grows over thirty varieties of specialty cider apples and three varieties of Vitis Vinifera wine grapes, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

A Family Tradition

We are proudly located in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA. Our apple orchard grows Vitis Vinifera wine grapes and unique and hard-to-find cider apples and varieties almost lost in the Temperance Movement of the early 19th century.
